Students supported Brunk Industries in optimizing its strategic operations by analyzing costs, improving lead generation, and exploring new market opportunities.
Industry: Financial Services
SourceFin is a South African fintech company that provides alternative financing and supply chain support to SMMEs. By offering purchase order funding, invoice discounting, and procurement services.
Project & KPIs:
Students conducted a competitor benchmarking project for Sourcefin, analyzing local and global rivals’ pricing, funding models, digital presence, and marketing strategies.
Industry: Innovation
Neurabuild partners with leading researchers and organizations to create nature-inspired technologies, with a focus on space domain awareness and neuromorphic systems.
Project & KPIs:
Students worked on expanding Neurabuild’s EcoEar, an AI and hardware solution originally built to detect koala vocalizations.
Industry: Travel
Based in Cape Town, Travelstart is the one-stop online travel shop. Forget trawling the web for the latest flight specials; they bring you the best international and domestic flights from all your favourite airlines.
Project & KPIs:
Students became part of creating Travelstart’s AI Innovation Lab, where they explored how artificial intelligence can transform the company’s marketing processes.
Industry: Digital Media & Entertainment Technology
Ambistream is a next-generation Social TV platform that combines the interactivity of social media with the storytelling power of television.

Students consulted on Ambistream’s early-stage strategic initiatives, focusing on user experience, content operations, and creator engagement.

Digital health firm providing regulatory and compliance services for medical device manufacturers and distributors.
