Most pre-law students arrive at the application having never briefed a case, written a legal memo, or argued a point of law out loud. There's no clinical pathway for law the way there is for medicine, so most applicants show up with grades, a test score, and an essay about wanting to make a difference.

These are the same foundational moves every first-year law student is trained on, practised here on real South African judgments, not textbook hypotheticals.
Extract the facts, issue, holding, and reasoning from a real judgment, the raw skill underneath everything else in law.
Master IRAC: Issue, Rule, Application, Conclusion, the structure behind every law school exam answer and every legal memo.
Draft a predictive memo and a persuasive submission, with structured feedback and revision. Then do it again, better.
Build an argument, defend it under questioning, and hold your ground before a bench of practising advocates.
Plus: work with AI the way firms actually do.
A full day on how legal AI is deployed and supervised in practice: what to verify, what never to trust, and what a supervising partner will ask you.
On day five, you receive the record: a real South African matter, adapted for students. It has two defensible sides and a genuine legal question. For the next two weeks, it is your case.
You brief it, reason through it, write on it, and build your argument, with coaching from iX faculty and practising lawyers.
On the final day, you argue it. A panel of practising advocates hears both sides, questions you from the bench, and tells you, honestly, how you did.
Most law students don't stand up in a moot until their second year. You'll have done it before you apply.
