The best parts of college were when I was traveling. The hardest part was figuring out what I wanted to do with my career. Even at Yale, I had very little exposure to what different careers were actually like. I studied mechanical engineering, ended up on Wall Street, and learned most of what I needed once I got there. I started iX to give students what I wish I'd had in college: the chance to explore a career, learn from people in the industry, build practical skills, and do it somewhere incredible with students from around the world.

If there's one question that's underlying every student's questions is, 'What can I do to differentiate myself?' They want to know what to do with their lives. They want to know what to do with their careers, for sure. But after we're all done talking about their interests and pursuing their careers, they all ask the same thing: how do I do something during my four years here that will differentiate me?
