Why did you choose iXperience?

I applied to iX because I want to go into the job search with a strong grasp on my chosen field, so that I do not face as big of a learning curve and can thus stand out from fellow applicants. Furthermore, I want to stay on top of my classes, maintaining a high GPA and keeping as many doors open as possible. iX summer can help me in all these ways: the combination of class sessions and internship experience helps me both learn new material, and also apply it in real-life scenarios.

What was the impact of the program and what was it like living in Cape Town?

Living in Cape Town has shown me literally how much life there is to explore outside of just my job and an office. It’s helped me realize while yes, I’m absolutely going to work hard and I want to build a successful career and that’s a huge priority for me.

Favorite moments from Cody's trip.

Cody is now an honorary Cape Town local. He summited mountains, went to an international rugby game (we won!), hiked, and surfed pretty much every day.
