"Managers care about your career path."

The most valuable aspect is not just the sales, marketing, copywriting, and business skills, but also managers' continuous support, check-ins, and genuine push for your career alongside organizational goals.

"An opportunity to connect with students from around the world."

The best part about being an iX BD was the opportunity to connect with students from all over the world. I loved hearing the stories and backgrounds of applicants hailing from Rwanda to Singapore, India to Canada and everywhere in between.

Incoming Associate at BCG | Ross BBA

After a transformative study abroad program this summer, I was thrilled to join the iXperience team as a Business Developer. I have since orchestrated a wide variety of campus activations, student organization partnerships, career fairs, and more to help students discover the same internship opportunities I had enjoyed that summer. Furthermore, I have undergone high-impact training in a wide variety of technical and soft skills as part of the iX BizDev program.

Frequently asked questions.

How much time does it take?

Most BDs spend around 3–5 hours per week reaching out and connecting with students. The role is designed to be flexible, so you can easily fit it around your class schedule, exams, and social life. Some weeks may be busier than others, but you’re always in control of your time.

Do I receive compensation?

You'll earn an hourly rate of $20 for work executed during the week, and $300 for every student who confirms their spot in the program.

Do I need to be a recent alum?

Yes, BDs must still be on campus so they can connect with students directly. As long as you’re an iX alum currently studying at your university, you’re eligible to join and help future students discover the program.

How do I get started?

Once you’re accepted as a BD, you’ll have a short onboarding call with the iX team to get access to your referral link, BD resources, and marketing materials. You’ll then start reaching out to students in your network and sharing your iX story.

What support will I get?

You won’t be doing it alone. The iX team provides training, weekly check-ins, and ready-to-use materials to help you connect with students and reach your goals confidently.
