Where you'll stay.

iX students in Lisbon stay at Bluesock (recently renamed Room007), a modern hostel in the historic heart of the Portuguese capital. It’s known for its social rooftop with incredible views and excellent facilities. Just off of Avenida da Liberdade, all of Lisbon’s central landmarks are within walking distance - just be sure to pick up pastéis de nata on your way!

Where you'll work.

Heden Intendente hosts our students in a newly-built space near Intendente metro station. Nearby are restored old buildings with preserved facades, adorned in traditional Portuguese tiles. The coworking space offers designated areas for iX students, full-time technical support, and nearby incredible eateries.

Coastal Cruise.

See Lisbon from a different perspective during a Tagus River cruise at sunset, undoubtedly the most magical time to see the city. From the boat, you can enjoy unobstructed views of Belém Tower (Torre de Belém), Lisbon Cathedral (Sé de Lisboa), Castelo de São Jorge (St. George’s Castle), and many more Lisbon attractions.

Tuition.
Bootcamp class. A 36-hour in-person bootcamp with vetted industry experts as teaching teams.
Internship. We match you with a global company for an in-city internship opportunity. You'll be able to apply what you've learned in the classroom and develop a portfolio, all while receiving ongoing support from your experienced instructors and TAs. Immerse yourself in the operations of a local company, becoming part of the team and gaining valuable, real-world experience.
Career workshops. You will have in-person professional development workshops and community events throughout the six weeks of the program. These can include workshops on adapting to your host city’s working style, the tools of working, how to build your resume and LinkedIn, and how to present
with impact to a live client audience.
Certification. You will receive a certification that you can add to your LinkedIn and resume. *You have to attend 90% of your classes
Lifelong value. iX is with you for life. After the program, get access to the iX Alumni Portal, with networking tools, free courses, paid opportunities and more.
City experience.
Accommodation. Our accommodation in Lisbon is comfortable, well-equipped and perfect for your needs. Note that each city’s accommodation setup is different, and can change from year to year.
Co-working space. You will have access to a centrally-located co-working space for you and your classmates to work on projects together.
Four official excursions. Four major experiences are included in your program fees - and vary from city to city. You can view the sample schedule on our website for more info. Lisbon
Three - five weekly community and social events. From group dinners to kayaking to paintball, you’ll have lots of planned optional extras to choose from (some are at your own cost).
24/7 health and safety support from iX staff. You can learn more about our health and safety protocols on our website.
Dedicated iX Program Management team. A dedicated iX Program Management team on the ground will accompany you on excursions, design community events and provide general support.
Airport pickup and dropoff. iX provides transport throughout the Sunday of your arrival weekend and the Saturday of your departure weekend.
