iX is designed to be your first step in a successful career.
It can be difficult for students to explore the vast array of career opportunities available to them if they find themselves already boxed into a specific field. I started off majoring in CS, but I didn't feel as fulfilled as I thought I would. Upon finding out about iX, I got to delve deep into the field of Human-Computer Interaction through their UX/UI Design course. While working with students from all around the world on a case study, I was able to start bridging the gap between what I learn in academia and the industrial skills needed for the tech field. I eventually switched my major from CS to HCI and the practical skills I learned in iX's course not only helped me succeed academically, but also aided me in my job search. I was able to cite the projects I worked on at iX and the experience of working with a real company is what propelled me ahead of my peers in terms of credibility.
Sean is an iX alum who would be happy to meet with you to talk about the program and answer any questions.
Certain things are "no brainers" as a college student. Being involved on campus, thinking about life after graduation, and of course making the most of a summer. With iX students, no matter their background or post graduation goals, get a chance to learn, do, accomplish, and explore all the world and their potential career have to offer. As a first year in uni I uniquely saw my skills and strengths grow under iX's Management Consulting course while abroad in Cape Town SA. I love sharing just how much iX helped me bloom and grow.
