iX is designed to be your first step in a successful career.
It’s not as scary as you think. You get to know what to do and what not to do and it becomes very comfortable; be open to everything, say yes to everything. Doing the things you might not want to do end up being some of the best experiences you have.
Roman and Marly are iX alumni who would be happy to meet with you to talk about the program and answer any questions including funding and credit opportunities.
Upon starting my sophomore year at Vanderbilt, I was unsure about my professional goals. At the time, I had gained experience in a variety of positions, but had not yet found a certain calling to a certain career. Having grown up as a dual US-Lithuanian citizen, I understand the value in learning through cultural immersion. When I found iX, I was fascinated by its ability to combine cultural immersion with meaningful pre-professional education, all while immersing me in a network environment of like-minded, driven students.
When I started my sophomore year of college, I immediately felt overwhelmed by the summer internship process. I have been studying engineering but wanted to indulge on the business side of tech. Getting an internship in the field felt almost impossible with such little experience. After hearing about iX, I knew this would be the perfect opportunity for me to refine my skills and expand my horizons. I have always had a passion for traveling and trying new things so this felt like the perfect fit.
There are opportunities for both credit and funding available. You can see the options below.
